DECISIONS project
DECISIONS: Choices and consumption: modelling long and short term decisions in a changing world
Principal investigator
European Research Council Consolidator grant (615596)
07/2014-06/2020
The DECISIONS project was a consolidator grant that received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (Grant agreement No. 615596), with a follow-up Proof of Concept grant (POC Apollo, 875692).
The project, led by Professor Stephane Hess at the University of Leeds started on 1 July 2014 and ended in December 2020. Over the years, the team for the DECISIONS project included Dr Chiara Calastri (as PhD student 2014-2017, and as PDRA 2017-2020), Dr Romain Crastes dit Sourd (as PDRA, 2015-2019), Dr Thomas Hancock (as PhD student 2016-2019, and as PDRA 2019-2020), Dr David Palma (as PDRA, 2017-2020) and Miss Martyna Bogacz (as PhD student 2017-2020). Two senior staff also participated in the project, Dr Charisma Choudhury (2014-2019) and Dr Thijs Dekker (2014-2016).
The project has been highly successful, with a very large number of journal papers, the development of the Apollo software, the collection of a unique dataset, the completion of three exciting PhD projects, and the award of four important prizes for research.
